Cookie Policy
Under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003 (the Privacy Code) and Italian Data Protection Authority Decision No. 231 of 10 June 2021
Last updated: 1 October 2026
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites send to your device (computer, smartphone or tablet), where they are stored and sent back to the website on subsequent visits. They allow a website to function correctly, remember your preferences and collect statistics about its use. This Cookie Policy supplements the Privacy Notice.
2. Technical storage and necessary cookies
The website remembers your banner choice through a technical browser storage mechanism (localStorage), which does not require consent. Any cookies strictly necessary to provide services you request are subject to Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021.
| Storage item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| cookie_consent | Remembers the analytics choice ("accepted", "technical" or "rejected"). This is a localStorage entry, not a cookie. | Persistent |
3. Third-party analytical cookies: Google Analytics 4
The website uses Google Analytics 4, a website traffic analysis service supplied by Google LLC. Its cookies distinguish users and sessions to produce statistics. According to Google, IP addresses are used during collection to estimate location and then discarded, without being recorded in Analytics. The other data collected are not considered anonymous under the GDPR.
With consent, Analytics also measures contact clicks and form stages. Events do not include message contents or the identifying details you enter in the forms.
In this website's configuration, Google Analytics 4 is activated only after your consent through the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes user sessions to produce usage statistics. | 2 years |
| _ga_[ID] | Maintains session state for the specific GA4 property. The suffix matches the configured Measurement ID. | 2 years |
For information about Google's processing, see the Google Privacy Policy. To disable Google Analytics across websites, see Google's opt-out browser add-on.
4. Third-party cookies and scripts: Google reCAPTCHA v3
The contact forms use Google reCAPTCHA v3 for anti-spam protection. Its script loads on the Contacts page and analyses usage signals to distinguish automated requests. According to Google, it may set the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie when executed; using the google.com domain may also involve other Google cookies. Processing for form protection is based on the controller's legitimate interest in service security. Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
5. OpenStreetMap, HERE address search and driving routes
The site-visit request form uses map tiles supplied by the OpenStreetMap Foundation. When the map loads, your browser connects to its servers to request the displayed tiles; the service may receive technical connection data, including your IP address. The website's code does not set cookies to display these tiles. For the Foundation's processing, see the OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy.
HERE does not supply the displayed map. HERE address search, autocomplete and geocoding services are queried when you enter or select an address or interact with the marker. Requests may send the address text or coordinates needed for the search. See the HERE Privacy Policy. HERE does not calculate the form's travel times.
To check appointment times, Google Apps Script queries its integrated Maps service using departure and destination coordinates and the journey time. This calculation takes place on the server and does not load a Google map in your browser. The Google Privacy Policy applies.
6. Managing and withdrawing consent
You can withdraw consent to analytical cookies at any time by clicking "Cookie preferences" in the footer. The consent banner will appear again so that you can change your choice. Alternatively, you can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Disabling all cookies may affect some website functions.
Instructions for common browsers:
For further information about personal data processing, see the Privacy Notice.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
The controller may change this Cookie Policy at any time, particularly following changes to legislation or the use of third-party tools. Changes will be published on this page with a revised date.
