Request capability documentationI grew up in Canicattini Bagni, Sicily. At eighteen I moved to Rome to study civil engineering. After graduating I spent a month and a half in a salaried position, then resigned. Every professional decision had to be one I could explain and defend. Not carry out on someone else's instructions.
I built the practice from scratch — beginning in 2011 with my first occasional engagements, and registering for VAT in 2012. The first commissions came from Sicily through family contacts and local authorities; those projects opened the door to public works in Rome. Over time I developed three specialisations: structural engineering, fire safety, energy efficiency. Not to broaden the offering, but because on a complex building these three disciplines cannot be handed to three consultants working in isolation. I have worked for municipalities, schools, health authorities, hotels, foundations and public-interest research bodies. I hold active consultancy engagements with Italian defence organisations and international bodies.
Once I withdrew from a commission without receiving any fee. I had identified structural problems the client refused to address. I did not sign and I left. Every assessment I produce carries my name. That is not negotiable.
Activity carried out, by category
The figures that follow are not an overall turnover, but the breakdown of the work carried out by category — the same language a Responsible Officer for the Procedure (RUP) uses to verify a professional's requirements when awarding a contract. No name of any body or client appears: only categories, amounts and reference year, in keeping with the confidentiality this practice guarantees every client.
Design activity carried out over the last ten years (2016–2025), by category D.M. 17/06/2016. It does not include project-verification, statutory inspection or RUP-support engagements, which answer to a different professional liability and are reported separately.

To these are added 2 project-verification and RUP-support engagements over the same period, for € 4.648.804,41 — control activity on others' designs, not design work of one's own.
The flagship service by category: the single most significant engagement completed over the last three years (2023–2025) — the reference required by the regulations for verifying requirements in direct awards and tender procedures.
