Carlo Cas­sari­no grew up in Cani­cat­ti­ni Bagni and stud­ied civil en­gi­neer­ing in Rome. Ini­tial oc­ca­sion­al as­sign­ments in 2011 were fol­lowed by the es­tab­lish­ment of the prac­tice in 2012.

The prac­tice fo­cus­es on struc­tur­al en­gi­neer­ing, fire safe­ty and en­er­gy ef­fi­cien­cy. For com­plex build­ings, the three dis­ci­plines are con­sid­ered to­geth­er to as­sess the ef­fects of de­sign de­ci­sions.

As­sign­ments are han­dled di­rect­ly by the en­gi­neer. Ex­pe­ri­ence in­cludes mu­nic­i­pal­i­ties, schools, health au­thor­i­ties, ho­tels, foun­da­tions and re­search bod­ies, along­side ac­tive con­sul­tan­cy for Ital­ian De­fence Or­gan­i­sa­tions and In­ter­na­tion­al Bod­ies.

The prac­tice uses tools for draft­ing, struc­tur­al analy­sis, safe­ty, en­er­gy and tech­ni­cal doc­u­men­ta­tion.
